Evangelism

From time to time, we organise so-called "evangelism evenings" for people who are interested to know more about Jesus Christ. We don't want to debate the issue, but rather freely share about who Jesus is and about how we know God! 

Why do we organise such events? At a certain point in our lives, we made a decision to follow Jesus. Everything has changed since then. And now we can say with certainty, that God, Whom we worship, really exists!

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, came to the earth as a human being. Several people foretold exactly where He would be born and what His life would be like, even centuries before Jesus' birth. Their writings are recorded in the Bible.

Jesus has done many signs and wonders: the sick were healed, people were risen from the dead. However, He was not accepted and crucified. God raised Jesus Christ from the dead after three days. Today, Jesus is alive and knocking at your door, waiting for you to open it!

What does His story mean for your life? 

It means that there is Someone who would really like to become your Friend. God has cleared the way for us to relate to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was allowed to be tortured, humiliated and crucified in order for you and me to be able to approach Him and call Him Father.

Faith in Jesus is not some sort of an ideology, lifestyle, or a positive source of strength so that we can get on with our lives. It is a relationship, a friendship with God, Whose heart's desire it is that you would get to know Him the way He knows you! 

God's love is unconditional. It's impossible to relate to Him through good works, because we can't earn His forgiveness and love. We cannot pay the price Jesus' blood paid on the cross. God's love is free, and it can be all yours: all you have to do, is to believe that Jesus has made it possible for you to have a relationship with God because He loves you.
